Valerie Villaflor is the Regional Senior Art Director at Publicis Groupe: PG ONE and a passionate illustrator and visual artist. Her career began in Manila and later took her to Singapore, where she continued to excel in her field.
Valerie graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of the Philippines. She is a globally multi-awarded art director specializing in Visual Communication and Fine Arts. Her work has gained recognition from various top award-giving bodies in advertising and creativity, including D&AD, Spikes, Cannes, Adfest, Adstars, Webby Awards, Boomerang Awards, NY Festival, Tambuli, Kidlat, among others.
With 11 years of experience, Valerie has crafted remarkable ideas locally and regionally, covering 12 categories, 26 brands, and 9 markets. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with exceptional individuals and prestigious clients, including household names like P&G (brands such as Ariel, Safeguard, Rejoice, Head & Shoulders, and Olay), Suntory (Ribena), Coca-Cola, Nestle, Unilever, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Jollibee, among many others. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping local, regional, and global projects across various communication channels. Recently, she served as a jury member for the One Club ADC Annual Awards in the illustration category.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Valerie possesses a deep passion for illustration and painting, working on diverse materials such as canvas, vinyl toys, and sneakers. She is an artist, collector, designer of art toys, illustrator of children's books, and a dedicated teacher for children with disabilities. Her multifaceted talents and commitment to creativity make her a remarkable and influential figure in art and advertising.
